Extra care has to be taken when storing pearls as they get easily damaged for today’s pollutions and environmental changes. One has to take as much care in storing pearls as they take while purchasing the pearl necklaces. When dirt gets laid on these gems, they start damaging the exterior pearl surface and slowly eat up the gems making it rough and look dirty. Dust has to be regularly wiped ff from time to time with a soft cloth.
